**About the role**

Reporting to the Chief Copy Editor, you will be working across our Homes brands _Home Beautiful _and _Inside Out_, writing news pages and features, and fitting and fact-checking copy to a high standard. These titles will be your primary focus, but you will be expected to lend a hand on other Homes hub magazines when they need assistance. You will also attend production meetings and work with editorial staff on content planning. This a permanent part time position (4 days per week).

The role includes some digital responsibilities, including uploading print-published content and optimising it for online. As such, in-house training will be provided in all aspects of digital content creation and for our platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced writer to produce copy with flair and panache for our gorgeous Homes brands.

**Duties**:

- Creating and conceptualising a range of content, including news pages and features on a range of homes-related topics.
- Creating online content for digital channels, you will create and upload content to the appropriate Are Media digital and social channels.
- Analysing and interpreting content to ensure it is consistent with the magazine’s brand, tone and style. Fact-checking, fitting copy to layout and rewriting.

- A knowledge of and keen interest in the homes arena.
