**In this role, you'll**:
Working as part of the Road Design team within Infrastructure & Place's Technical Services branch, you will be responsible for reviewing and producing comprehensive road designs, solving complex design challenges, and providing technical leadership to both internal and project teams. You will coordinate inputs from various technical disciplines and stakeholders, review road designs prepared internally and externally, and develop strategic, concept, and detailed road designs.

In this role, you will lead design and review activities, contribute to project teams, and build your expertise across the road design function. Your work assignments will span various internal and external locations, focusing on areas such as traffic signals, design review, road policy, CADD, or workforce development. This will allow you to contribute to critical infrastructure projects in a dynamic and supportive environment.

**About you**

You are passionate about road design and bring extensive experience to the field, consistently delivering high-quality results within infrastructure projects. Your background reflects the following strengths and qualifications:
- You hold tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or have substantial related experience that supports your expertise.
- Your extensive experience in road design is evident through your successful handling of various projects.
- You have a deep, working knowledge of Transport for NSW (formerly RMS) standards, policies, and relevant requirements, making you a specialist in the field of road design.
- You manage complex road design projects with ease, leveraging your significant experience to ensure successful outcomes.
- You are proficient in industry-standard software, including OpenRoads, 12D, or Civil 3D, enabling you to produce precise and effective designs.
- You are committed to continuous improvement and are willing to undertake and complete Road Safety Auditor training.
- You possess a valid Australian Motor Vehicle Driver’s License.
