**The Service**

**KU Chatswood Community Preschool **provides opportunities and activities based upon the Early Years Learning Framework for children to discover and pursue their own interests and strengths. Children are encouraged to laugh, think, question and learn.

This preschool has a special interest in literacy learning so children are provided the opportunity to learn literacy in many ways by incorporating a range of modes of communication including music, movement, dance, storytelling, visual arts, technology and dramatic play.

The KU casual pool is growing We are looking for educators who hold a **Certificate III **in Early Childhood Education **.**

With access to hours across our KU Services, free professional learning, coaching & mentoring, and sector leading pay rates, the possibilities at KU are endless.

**The Role**

We are looking for casual educators who hold a **Certificate III **in Early Childhood Education with a range of shifts, starting from 7am and finishing by 6pm Monday to Friday. You will support other educators in delivering a variety of educational programs for children up to 6 years old.

There are also a number of **short-term support contracts available **with guaranteed hours on a term-by-term basis. However, extension is highly possible.
**Thursday and Friday for 7 Hours each day **, ending 30th June 2023
**Wednesday for 5 Hours **, ending 28th June 2023

**Opportunity to join Casual hours outside of contracted hours if desired.**

**About You**

To be successful for the role you will have:

- Australian work rights
- Recognised Certificate III as approved by ACECQA
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check
- Training demonstrating current knowledge of Child Protection legislation
- COVID19 Vaccination Digital Certificate
