Dedicated Educators to Nurture wellbeing at Exceeding Service | Chatswood Area

Join our team of passionate and dedicated Educators who are committed to teaching and enriching the wellbeing of children. As an Educator, you'll have the opportunity to work in this supportive, inclusive, and eco-friendly community where your passion for teaching can flourish and make a positive impact on young minds.

**About the Role**:

- Facilitate and implement engaging and inclusive early childhood education programs in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment that promotes each child's individual development and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with a team of educators to plan and evaluate program experiences, ensuring they meet the diverse needs and interests of children.
- Can work 8 hours, 5 days a week. Flexibility to transition to a 9-day fortnight if full time and happy to work with those looking for part time hours to meet their and the services needs.
- Fresh Grads are encouraged to apply, also for those looking for career growth.
- Fairness approach to rostering, with all educators rotating through shifts to ensure variety and a change of who opens / closes etc with a monthly roster.

- Contribute to the documentation and assessment of children's learning and development, using observations and reflections to inform future planning.

**Pay Rate / Ranges**:

- Certificate III: $30 - $32 per hour / $62k - $66k pa + super.
- Diploma: $32 - $36 per hour / $66k - $74k pa + super.
- ECT: $36 - $44 per hour / $74k - $90k pa + super.

**About the Service**:

- Approved for under 50 places, small service setting - time to get to know each individual child that attends and build on those connections.
- Rated as an **Exceeding Service** by ACECQA.
- Low staff turnover - **had no turnover for 4 years.**:

- Although only a small service, there is lots of space with 3 learning areas, each with their own outdoor and age appropriate curriculum.
- Long term, enthusiastic team and supportive organisation.
- Passion projects highly encouraged and substantial budget allocations for this to happen.
- Early Childhood Education service taking from 12 weeks to 6 years of age.
- Service operates from 7:30am - 6pm.
- The provider works with the team to find out what they want, benefits are decided upon based on the wants / needs of the team.
- The team are rewarded and recognised based on performance with many sharing in each others successes.

**About You**:

- Qualified educator with a Certificate III/Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (also happy to consider trainee / working towards qualification).
- Open for fresh graduates and new starters to the education and care profession.
- Passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
- Someone that can build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community and fosters open communication.
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Creative and adaptable, with a willingness to engage in innovative practices and continuous improvement.
- Compassionate and empathetic, with a genuine desire to support the holistic development and wellbeing of each child.
- Reliable and organised, with the ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment.

**Child Safeguarding**:
Looking for an individual that will understand, adhere to, and promote The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (the **Child Safe Standards**). In your position, you will help to take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.
