**Job description**:
On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency based in Brisbane, we are looking for an APS5 Procurement and Contracts Officer to join the procurement team. This is a 12 month assignment, 37.5 hours per week, $53.63 per hour plus super.

The Procurement Team is responsible for partnering with the business areas to procure goods and services for the Agency. The APS5 Procurement and Contracts officer will support the team and be accountable for organising their workflow, providing advice and undertaking work in line with the Commonwealth Procurement Framework.

**Responsibilities include;**
- Provide admin support to the procurement team
- Provide procurement advice and support to the broader Agency in line with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Guidelines
- Assist with tracking value for money based outcomes and prepare reports against KPIs
- Prepare a range of procurement documentation
- Enter, extract and manipulate data for reporting

**To be considered for this role you will demonstrate;**
- Previous procurement experience, preferably in a Government Agency or Department
- Experience delivering support and advice complying with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules
- SAP experience would be advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment and delivering to time-frames
