Established in 1985, it manufactures and markets conveyor components including pulleys, idlers, rapid advance-rapid retreat components and drive-heads, and provides on-site installation, maintenance, and relocation of conveyor installations.

**Our Opportunity**

To support our ongoing growth, NEPEAN Conveyors NSW are currently seeking a Lead Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our design and manufacturing facility in Unanderra, NSW or closest NEPEAN office.

**Daily duties will typically include**:

- Leading the drafting team in all aspects of drafting of bulk materials handling equipment. (Belt Conveyor Systems).
- Developing and maintaining drafting processes and systems for the engineering department.
- Directing and coordinating workload for the drafting team.
- Ensuring all aspects of the drafting process are carried out for each project. I.e. Design reviews have been completed, drawings have been checked and back drafted, drawings have been issued for manufacture.
- Understanding the operation of industry equipment.
- Seek new opportunities to support growth of the site service business.

**The Right Person**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role, ideally in bulk material handling background or heavy industrial/mining industry.
- Tertiary qualifications in related discipline, Drafting, Engineering.
- Showing proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D Inventor software
- Being proficient in Microsoft Office
- Obtained drawing and design experience.
- Belt Conveyor Design experience.
