Draftsperson - Cranes

Our client - Nation leaders in the design and delivery of complex craneage services, servicing major infrastructure, construction and mining projects across Australia, are on the lookout for a Draftsperson to join their growing team
**Due to continued growth, they are looking for the right person to create and design detailed schematics that are fit for purpose to communicate all aspects of crane operation and function. Your primary purpose will be to work with the designers of the business to achieve and deliver exceptional results for their clients.**
**Reporting to the Lead Draftsperson, your responsibilities will include;**
- Preparing and providing detailed schematics in relation to crane operation, manufacturing, and repair;
- Producing drawings and deliverables on a timely basis and ensuring that they are in accordance with all codes and standards as provided by engineers or designers;
- Preparing drawings and transmittals for project submittals;
- Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes in collaboration with the relevant internal teams and external third parties;
- Reviewing blueprints, plans, specifications, and other documentation to establish the most authoritative source to establish the requisite drawings;
- Assisting in the maintenance of a drawing library for internally produced drawings;
- Contributing to bids and tender submissions; and
- Review, maintain and operate the most relevant software for the provision of drawings within the business.
**_Requirements:_**
- Efficient knowledge of Drafting and Modelling Software - AutoCAD 2D and 3D
- Experience in BIM technology and Collaboration Software - Autodesk Navisworks, Revit
- Experience in the Crane and Construction Industry highly desirable
- Creative problem-solving and trouble shooting
- Attention to detail and accuracy, time management on priority activities
