As a Career Medical Officer (CMO) at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing medical supervision to private patients of hospital accredited Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs).
- Collaborating with nursing staff to implement Deteriorating Patient protocol.
- Assisting with emergency surgical procedures.
- Identifying and managing deviations in diagnostic results, and notifying VMOs accordingly.
- Communicating effectively with VMOs regarding patient care.
- Working effectively as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrating strong organisational and time management skills.
- Working on a rotating roster and on-call basis, including weekends.
Requirements
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
- Current medical indemnity insurance.
- Working with Children Check and Police Check.
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination and immunisation history.
