Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to drive growth of the existing subscriber base in the mining industry and expansion to adjacent markets, within the Asia-Pacific Region, this role can be based in either Brisbane or Melbourne.

Noise is a seemingly small issue that often holds up large projects, or constrains operations, where industry and people or animals must coexist. Wood has developed Noise-AI, a technology that leverages artificial intelligence to analyse acoustic data with the same accuracy as a human specialist, but in a fraction of the time.
- Get instant insight with real-time analysis
- Ensure strong stakeholder relationships through pro-active noise management
- Unlock production opportunities while ensuring compliance and stakeholder support
- Creating opportunities with customers through raising awareness of available Noise-AI solutions and how they can address their business and technical requirements
- Drive customer retention and growth
- Identify unmet needs and customer pain points and influence the product roadmap
- Represent the ‘voice of the customer’ in internal meetings (e.g., feature review and prioritisation, support improvements, etc)
- Identify, develop and manage implementation of workarounds to bridge product issues

Skills / Qualifications:

- 3+ years’ experience in a pre-sales customer facing role
- Experience working with enterprise and mid-market customers
- Experience building and maintaining relationships
- Empathetic, positive attitude with a strong desire to help customers reach their goals
- Experience with influencing stakeholders from a broad range of levels within customer organisations
- Flexible approach, able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change
- Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a “can do” attitude
- Proficient at using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel for persuasive communication
