**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the training team, ensuring effective planning, development, and implementation of training initiatives.
- Oversee the delivery of training programs across a variety of operational functions including safety, machinery operation, and leadership development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, operations, and safety teams, to identify training needs and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements and industry best practices.
- Maintain training records and track employee progress to ensure certifications and competencies are up to date.
- Develop and manage the training budget and resources effectively.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve content and delivery methods.
- Promote a culture of safety, high performance, and continuous learning within the workforce.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Education, Training, or a related field (preferred).
- Significant experience in training or learning and development, ideally within the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards within the mining industry.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety and operational excellence.
