**About the venues**

Three Blue Ducks at The Farm Byron Bay, on Bundjalung is set on an 80-acre farm and Macadamia Orchard with views of both the hinterland and Byron’s iconic lighthouse. Our Bellingen venue is set on acres of lush, manicured gardens, on Gumbaynggirr country with uninterrupted mountain views of Dorrigo National Park, offering a beautiful backdrop for weddings, corporate and boutique events.

Although each of our locations differs greatly in aesthetic our philosophy and ethos remain very much the same. Our no-fuss way of dining and commitment to buying local and ethically farmed produce makes us proud to be seen as frontrunners in conscious consumption and a hit with visitors recognising our love of real food.

We are looking for a Wedding & Events Manager to join our talented team based in our Byron Bay office, managing events for both our Byron Bay and Bellingen venues.

As the Events Manager you be responsible for selling and delivering a wide range of events from corporate functions to weddings and private celebrations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional organisational skills, and have a keen eye for detail, we would love you to apply.

You will inspire and motivate the service team and ensure every customer leaves with a smile on their face. You will be responsible for the events from conception through to event day, ensuring the team are suitably organised, working in unison and rostered appropriately. You will handover the on the day coordination to our onsite restaurant and event coordinator and will be called to support the events team for on the day coordination from time to time.

**Responsibilities**
- Completing sales appointments, enquiries, proposals, meet and greets and follow-up of all client interactions to ensure client satisfaction
- Handover the onsite coordination to our restaurant and event coordination prior to the event
- Where necessary, will be required to be onsite and manage execution of events including onsite and offsite events
- Conduct site tours and provide detailed information about our venue and services- Report to Senior Event Manager for all event related matters
- Evaluating and costing function and event enquiries
- Collaborate with clients to create customised event proposals and contracts.
- Acquiring new business along with maintaining and growing a portfolio of existing clients for in-house events
- Working closely with our Events team to bring together the finer details of the client's special day
- Manage the event sales pipeline, track leads, and report on sales activities.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals for our Byron Bay and Bellingen venues

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum 4 years' industry experience with a real passion for weddings and special events
- Strong sales experience and capability to on sell and up sell the venue
- Proven success coordinating detailed wedding and celebration events
- Experience in managing, organising and coordinating site visits
- Outstanding time management and strong multi-tasking skills
- Strong client, customer liaison and relationship building skills
- Be able to form part of a team and communicate effectively
- Love of events and hospitality
