We provide allied health programs on-site in Manly via telehealth and outreach into rural and remote communities.

You will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of activities which directly enable our key priorities for revenue generation, advocacy, brand awareness, service delivery and stakeholder engagement.

- Job Description**Purpose of the Position**

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Marketing, the role will be responsible for managing, delivering and building on the success of RFW’s current events portfolio, including our key annual fundraising and awareness event, the Ride for Country Kids.

RFW’s fundraising events are to deliver on the organisational priorities of revenue generation, advocacy, profile, brand positioning and engagement.

Central to the role is developing RFW’s events strategy including developing new events, delivering annual event revenue targets, managing event budgets and reporting, as well as developing opportunities to proactively promote and build RFW’s reputation.

The role will actively build, develop and maintain key relationships to ensure strong engagement and retention. Due to operational requirements the role is 0.7 full time equivalent working 3 days a week for the first half of the year and 4 days a week for the second half of the year, discussed further at interview stage.
- Desired Skills and Experience**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the not-for-profit sector
- Significant successful track record in planning and executing large and small scale fundraising events including peer to peer
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Ability to strongly represent RFW externally, acting as a credible advocate for the organisation
- Experience identifying and building new commercial and sponsorship opportunities for events
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to sensitively respond to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to take a practical, pragmatic and "hands on" approach
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Experience managing end to end fundraising journeys with a donor centric approach
- Flexibility to work out of hours and for extended hours during peak periods
- Full driving license
