**About the role**

**Based in Brisbane**, the **Events Coordinator **is responsible for planning, developing, organising and executing impactful Industry Engagement events, programs, projects, and/or services for Engagement & Customer Experience effectiveness.

Working with a family-friendly team, we offer a supportive hybrid work environment with flexible work from home arrangements. We encourage work-life balance and celebrate additional leave over the Christmas/New Year period and through rostered days off.

This role does require flexibility to travel and work outside regular office hours as required.

**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:

- Plan, organise, and execute a range of national Industry events and forums.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless coordination of event requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and other government agencies.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses and participate in post-event evaluations.
- Maintain and manage Events and Engagements Calendar.
- Provide on-site management during events, overseeing setup, registration, overall logistics and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations and participant satisfaction.
- Assist with the collection, management and analysis of information.
- Provide administrative support by developing documents, reports, presentations, meeting packs.

**About You**

**_ You will have: _**
- Formal qualifications in event management, marketing, communications or a related field (highly regarded).
- Demonstrated expertise in planning, organising and executing small to medium scale events.
- Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office suites and a working knowledge of records management.
- Demonstrated strong organisational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage effective relationships.
- Adaptable and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to independently multi-task and prioritise deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritise competing priorities.
- Working knowledge using SharePoint and Power BI reporting (highly regarded)
