Our Social Work and Human Services discipline encompass fields of study and practice which focus on improving the well-being and quality of life for individuals, families, group, and communities.

We are now seeking a passionate Lecturer who is able to further develop and deliver into our Social Work and Human Services offerings to provide practical insights and knowledge for our students.

**What you’ll do**:
As Lecturer (Social Work and Human Services), you will bring your specialist knowledge and skills to deliver academic activities and teach into the Social Work and Human Services programs.

In this Education Specialist position, you will contribute to the delivery of quality teaching and scholarly practice, inclusive of social work and human services field education principles. Additionally, you will:

- Demonstrate discipline expertise and knowledge, and leverage innovative digital technologies to deliver student-centred methodologies to engage students in learning,
- Plan, develop and coordinate learning activities which integrate best practice informed by Social Work and Human Services knowledge, and
- Working collaboratively with other Social Work and Human Services academics to ensure our courses adopt a pervasive practice orientation, enabling our students to be placement
- and practice-ready.

**What will help you succeed:
**You will hold membership of or be eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

You will possess a Doctoral or Master qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in the field of Social Work and Human Services. Additionally, you will have
- Demonstrated experience in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching that produce the best possible outcomes for students; and
- High-level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, relating well to people at all levels using diplomacy, tact and sound judgement, with an ability to build constructive and effective relationships.
