**The Role**

The Quality Assurance Analyst is a key role within our agile delivery teams, collaborating with the delivery team, test automation team and key stakeholders to ensure solutions achieve the necessary level of quality and meet the needs and expectations of the Product Owner.

This role works within one of the delivery teams that supports all teams across Guild Insurance by planning, designing, and executing manual and automated system testing on the Insurance platforms utilised by Guild Insurance.

**The main duties are**:

- Supporting the planning, design and execution of manual and automated system testing by working collaboratively with the team and relevant business units.
- Reviewing user requirements documents and acceptance criteria to ensure completeness to enable quality deliverables.
- Validate that user expectations are met during the testing process.
- Assist with the management of defects identified during the development sprints and develop, document and execute test plans/cases for functional testing.
- Reporting progress and status of assigned tasks/activities whilst continually looking for opportunities to improve quality assurance processes.

**Knowledge, experience, and education**:

- Business/Quality Analysis and/or testing experience.
- Experience with software testing tools, techniques, planning and execution.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban and Lean) are highly desirable.
- Experience with Commercial Property, Professional Indemnity, Commercial Motor or Workers' Compensation insurance is highly desirable.
- Experience using Guidewire is highly desirable.
- Experience with automated testing tools is highly desirable.
