As our Technician, you’ll be working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to a critical service that connects communities and businesses across Australia. You’ll use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair sorting and delivery machinery, ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely for our employees and customers.

You might not be working from home, but you’ll be supporting the community and the wider Australia Post team, and it doesn’t get better than that

**Shift requirements**

The required shifts for this position are 3 x 12hr shifts across 3 days per week on a rotating roster.

2 weeks on day-shift 6am to 6:15pm.

2 weeks night-shift 6pm to 6:15am.

Working days rotate and are Sun/Mon/Tues OR Wed/Thurs/Fri (36.75hrs pw)

**You’ll be**
- Keeping our processing machines in top working order through corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance
- Pinpointing problems and repairing complex faults
- Accurately recording all plant and material maintenance transactions (including planning) using SAP
- Ensuring safety is the top priority in all your work
- Mentored by talented staff and technical leaders
- Working a rotating roster at the Brisbane Parcel Facility at Redbank

**About you**
- You have electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications with industry experience
- You hold a Certificate III in Electrical or Mechanical Trades with relevant technical qualifications with an unrestricted licence
- You have practical experience monitoring and repairing processing equipment
- You’ve had exposure to material handling systems (conveyors and sortation equipment)
- You have experience in the diagnosis, repair and monitoring of high-speed automation or processing equipment and systems
- You have experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (preferably SAP)
- You have good written and verbal communication skills
- You are able to work collaboratively in a Team environment
