This position is responsible for the procurement and expediting delivery of equipment and materials, required to support successful completion of projects, in line with company and clients policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Promote and ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management systems are implemented and adhered to.
- Prepare and expedite purchase orders as required and for project bill of materials.
- Participate in the assessment and selection of source suppliers taking into account cost effectiveness and availability of required supplies.
- Administer contractual aspects of supply contracts.
- Provide management and other stakeholders with reports on supplier performance and assist in resolution of supplier disputes.
- Oversee the logístical and transportation of equipment and materials to ensure projects are supported on time and budget.
- Ensure all commercial requirements of supply contracts are satisfied.
- Oversee consumable stock control for the workshop including company PPE.
- Support quality assurance checks for material and equipment received and expedited.
- Liaising with Vendors to obtain quotes for purchasing products required for projects.
- Raise and maintaining bill of materials.
- Vendor Management.
- Inventory Control.
- Report on procurement as required.

Qualifications and Skills:
Essential
- Post-secondary qualifications in supply management or equivalent.
- Forklift Ticket.
- Demonstrated prior experience as a Logistics and Procurement Officer. Preferably in Construction/Engineering Environment.
- Intermediate User of Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred
- Prior experience operating in a rail signalling environment.
- 5yrs experience in procurement.
- Electrical equipment knowledge.
- Prior experience with ERP System.
