- BH-154263As an Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in strategic planning for road infrastructure in the Brisbane Metropolitan region. Your responsibilities include implementing and maintaining effective asset management practices, such as asset condition analysis, lifecycle analysis, levels of service, intervention treatments, and asset handover processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop strategic documents like Asset Lifecycle Plans, Strategic Asset Management Plans (SAMPs), and Asset Management Plans (AMPs).
- Provide expert advice and support on asset owner responsibilities for region-owned assets.
- Develop capital works programming for key asset groups.
- Conduct asset risk and criticality assessments.
- Investigate civil infrastructure issues, prepare briefings, ministerial replies, reports, and correspondence.
- Monitor civil infrastructure issues, trends, and policies at various levels for stakeholder advice.
- Identify and implement asset management practices and improvements.
- Ensure civil infrastructure assets are managed to minimize risk and optimize utilization.
- Contribute to a safe workplace by complying with health and safety legislation and codes of practice.

**About You**:

- Experience in infrastructure asset management with a focus on best practices.
- Strong investigative, analytical, and research skills.
- Strategic thinking in asset management throughout the lifecycle.
- Understanding of Asset Management leading practices, frameworks, and standards.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver a broad range of asset management services.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to timely delivery of quality outputs.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

**Highly Regarded**:

- Bachelor's qualification in a related area (e.g., Civil Engineering, Science, Business).
- Qualification in Asset Management.
- Qualification in Project Management.
