Bid Coordinator

My Client is a 2/3 construction company operating in Sydney and Melbourne markets, undertaking projects between $10m to $150m in both private and public sectors.

As a Construction Bid Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by coordinating and managing the bid process for construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals to secure new projects. In addition, your InDesign expertise will be essential for creating visually appealing and professional bid documents that effectively showcase our capabilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the business development team, project managers, and estimators to understand project requirements and develop bid strategies.
- Research and gather information on potential projects, including project scope, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare bid packages, including bid forms, subcontractor/supplier requests, and other necessary documentation.
- Utilize InDesign to create visually appealing bid documents, including cover letters, executive summaries, project descriptions, and graphics.
- Coordinate with the estimating team to compile accurate cost estimates and pricing information for bids.
- Review and proofread bid packages to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client requirements.
- Submit bids in a timely manner, following established procedures and deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in bid coordination or related roles within the construction industry or architecture firm
- Proficiency in InDesign or similar graphic design software, with a strong eye for visual presentation and layout design.
- Solid understanding of construction bid processes, including project documentation, bid analysis, and subcontractor selection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
