**Responsibilities**

Strategic leadership

Develop and implement the growth plans for our healthcare vertical in accordance with the group vision and goals. Create and implement segment plans, goals and business strategies to drive customer retention, revenue growth, market share, and profitability.

Solution design

Work closely with the commercial team to design and implement complex end-to-end logistics solutions for healthcare customers. Oversee an effective change management program for new customers, ensuring the seamless integration of systems and processes to deliver efficient logistics solutions.

Team leadership and management

Build and lead a high-performing team within the vertical. Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve their full potential. Foster a collaborative, customer-centric and results-driven culture, encouraging continuous improvement, employee engagement and professional growth.

Customer relationship management

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners within the vertical. Understand customer needs, anticipate market trends, and provide innovative solutions to drive customer satisfaction and retention. Identify new and extension business opportunities and negotiate contracts to grow wallet share and expand the customer base. Develop case studies which become part of the company's go-to-market toolkit and educates our internal stakeholders.

Financial management

Collaborate with the finance and commercial teams to develop and manage the annual budget for the vertical, including forecasts, expense control and profitability targets. Monitor financial performance regularly, analyse variances, identify areas of improvement and take appropriate actions to meet or exceed financial objectives.

Industry networks, expertise and market intelligence

Stay in tune with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities. Expand our networks and connections within the healthcare industry. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence and produce valuable content for our marketing collateral.

Cross-functional collaboration

Collaborate with other functions and verticals, to align strategies and ensure smooth interdepartmental coordination. Foster strong working relationships and open communication channels to drive synergies and achieve overall company objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in a strategic sales leadership role, ideally within an industry vertical.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry, market dynamics, and trends with established networks which will be beneficial to our growth plans.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth, customer acquisition, and profitability within a logistics operation.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in managing profit and loss, budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in process optimization and operational excellence.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility for regular travel.
