**The company**: As a leading figure in its infrastructure sector, our client is currently experiencing a significant period of organic growth. Following on from a recent system implementation (SuccessFactors) a vacancy is now available for an interim Payroll Manager for a minimum of 6 months (you will be required to manage the Payroll function through the upcoming June year-end period). Based in Sydney CBD, the team works from home every Monday & Friday, with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays spent in the office.

**The role**: As interim Payroll Manager, your duties will include:

- Day-to-day management of 4 Payroll Officers
- Managing the weekly payroll of circa 1,400 employees (all Aus-Based)
- Coaching and mentoring the team as required
- Troubleshooting any SuccessFactors systems issues
- Dealing with escalated pay queries
- Month end & Year-end statutory payroll duties
- Payroll reporting
- Payroll tax & third-party calcs

This is very much a business-as-usual focused assignment, you will not be expected to get involved in other ongoing payroll projects or pieces of peripheral project work.
- Ideally, you will have previous SuccessFactors experience
- You are available immediately or with 1 week's notice (maximum)
- Happy to work from the CBD office every Tues, Weds, and Thurs
- Previous experience of managing a payroll team/ function
- Confident & capable of leading a Payroll function through financial year-end

The position is guaranteed to run through until at least the end of July 2024, possibly longer. Depending on your previous levels of experience, a salary circa $150k - $160k + Super is on offer to the successful applicant.
