We are seeking a values-driven Administration Assistant who will provide efficient clerical and administration support to the Corps.

About the role

We are seeking a values-driven Administration Assistant who will provide efficient clerical and administration support to the Corps in order to enhance outcomes and to support the achievement of the TSA mission.

You will successfully
- Create, review and distribute weekly newsletter, as well as any promotional materials, liaising with Line Manager and Public Relations Team as required and in line with policy and procedures
- Finance/accounts tasks such as processing accounts; recording finances as required; generate and process invoices; receipting donations; banking; reconciliations and payment of accounts
- Assist Corps Officers in the recording, and requirements associated with maintenance of volunteer records, in line with TSA policy and procedures, liaising with Volunteer Resources team as required
- Provide customer service and assistance to community members, referring to relevant internal services, or external partners as required
- Collate and record all Corps Statistics, providing reports as needed to Corps Officers and/or to Divisional Headquarters
- Report any hazards or near misses to Line Manager and within SolvSafety as required and in line with TSA policies and procedures
- Other duties as relevant for the role, as required by Line Manager

This is a part-time (30hrs per week), permanent position, located in Little Mountain, QLD. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Clerk Award Level 3.

You will have
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Certificate in Business Administration desirable
- At least 2 years’ experience in administration or receptionist position
- A national police record check is required
- Current WWCC (Blue Card)
- Driver’s Licence
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
