**How will I help?**

The Executive Manager, Regulatory Affairs is responsible for leading regulatory engagement (with an ASIC and BCCC focus) in support of the delivery of the enterprise-wide Regulatory Affairs Strategy.

They will lead regulatory relationships across a substantial portfolio of regulatory engagements, strategically advising on regulatory matters, leveraging relationships, industry expertise, and compliance insights to guide effective decision-making, risk management, and regulatory advocacy.

They will also, analyse the regulatory landscape to deliver insightful input to reports and briefing notes for senior executive stakeholders on current and emerging regulatory risks and trends.

Additionally, they will be responsible for:

- Attending meetings with regulators and facilitate effective interactions.
- Managing responses to regulatory requests, work closely with the business to understand and interpret regulatory expectations, and provide oversight and constructive challenge as required.
- Developing an understanding of relevant regulatory policies and guidance and maintain operational excellence when following internal processes.
- Proactively contributing to the leadership of the Group Regulatory Affairs team. Supporting and coaching of team members.

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong knowledge and understanding of regulators, regulatory landscape, practice and expectations. You will have prior experience working with/for ASIC.

You will have the ability to understand the practical business implications of regulatory activities and expectations.

Excellent stakeholder management, oral and written communication skills, are essential to the success of this role.

Additionally, you will have excellent planning and organisational skills, strong time management, ability to prioritise, work under pressure within tight deadlines and with autonomy.
