Grounded Construction Group are an exciting, young, yet firmly established company within the Mining industry. We are recognised by the majors for specialising in remote Non Processing Infrastructure (NPI) and building & construction. Our projects include Mining Camp installation, NPI buildings, Refurbishments, Civil Works, Concrete Works and Earthworks

Due to company expansion we are seeking a suitably skilled and experienced Human Resources officer with strong HR generalist & Recruitment experience in a similar role within the mining or construction industry. You will support the team in achieving core business objectives through effective management of all aspects of HR, Recruitment and Payroll.

**About the Role**

This is a Perth based role, Monday to Friday, standard office hours and working from the Head office in West Perth to support the teams on remote projects.

The Role will report directly to the Assistant Manager and indirectly to the General Manager.

There are a variety of requirements to perform for this role including but not limited to:

- Blue
- Effective onboarding of new employees including providing information on company policies and procedures and providing clarity on terms of employment.
- Maintaining the HR Information system and ensuring all employee documentation and detail is up to date.
- Providing advice on and handling all employee relations issues.
- Formulating policies and procedures to manage employee performance and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant legislation and Awards including policies, employment contracts and compliance with wage systems and dispute settlement procedures.
- Processing end to end weekly payroll for 50-100 employees.
- Compliance Reporting and payment for Taxes, Super, WorkCover etc.
- Assist in planning and ensuring compliance with Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
- Assist with salary benchmarking and performing HR audits on current company policies.

**Skills & Experience**
- Degree qualification in Human Resources Management or relevant
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a HR role
- Demonstrated capacity to provide leadership through industry and market changes and challenges.
- Good understanding of applicable Employment and WHS legislation
- Highly developed computer literacy skills and project specific software
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Perth, WA: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
