**The Role**
The APS5 Treasury role is critical to accurately manage the treasury and banking functions of the department. This includes preparation of daily drawdowns, daily receipting, EFT payments, BAS lodgement and assisting with month end reporting requirements.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Treasury, the Treasury Officer is responsible for the duties listed below.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

- Prepare daily drawdowns and enter into CBMS, prepare and park corresponding journals where applicable.
- Prepare daily receipting and enter into CBMS, prepare and park corresponding journals where applicable.
- Prepare EFT payments and process in RBANet.
- Prepare and lodge monthly BAS.
- Treasury mailbox maintenance.
- Assist with monthly reporting requirements (i.e. appropriation and bank reconciliations).
- Identify process improvements and provide possible solutions in consultation with the Treasury Team.
- Continually developing system and process improvement.
- Assist in preparing process documentation to ensure processes are clearly documented, concise and fit for purpose.
