**Australian Mentoring Services is a successful and ambitious NDIS provider. Founded in 2020 by a small group of people who felt it was time to open a support business that provided a strong connection to society integration and an individual's culture. Our niche is to support people with Psychosocial disabilities and intellectual disabilities**

Fast track to today, they now employ over 100 people in NSW, supporting participants with supported living homes stretching from the west of Sydney to the south coast and growing

**Reporting to the people-focused CEO this newly created Assistant role will have two key areas of responsibility. The first is to support the CEO as an Executive Assistant. The second is to support the CEO and his wife in running the family and home.**

Below are examples of the duties required:
**Executive Duties**
- Provide timely, effective diary management by prioritising and organising meetings
- Review incoming correspondence, prepare and send outgoing correspondence.
- Coordination of team and individual meetings, including booking venues and equipment, arranging catering and taking minutes.
- Prepare regular reports and ad hoc reports, as required, for the Managing Director
- Arrange travel and accommodation for the team.
- Oversee the movement of documents and files.
- Prepare high-quality documents, reports, letters and submissions.
- Reconciliation of monthly expense incurred by Managing Director
- Coordinate and prepare state reports, diary management, state meetings and state events.
- Support and promote the work of AMS, maintaining a positive image of the organisation in accordance with level of position.

Family Support Dutues
- Engage in tasks that support the functioning of a family’s personal life, including children’s schedules, travel, activities, among other categories.
- Arrange travel including flights, ground transportation, lodging, dining and other activities.
- Create files, spreadsheets and other documentation of certain matters, as necessary.
- Occasional school pick up/drop off if required
- Take care of meal preparation
- Keep the home organised and neat, including laundry and ironing.
- Oversee property upkeep and maintenance including liaising with trade people.

The successful applicant will be task-orientated and have experience in a people-centred role that requires flexibility and fluidity. They will have strong organisational and administrative experience and be used to working in an office environment. Ideally they will have had some experience woprking with children even in a previous nanny or babysitting capacity and enjoy this aspect of the role.

In addition:

- Proven well-developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to identify priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated proficient ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
