On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Product Designer.

The role will focus on creating and optimising interactions between users and the product. The goal is to create a user experience that is accessible and intrinsically pleasurable ultimately improving user engagement with the product’s systems.

The daily duties and responsibilities include:
**Stakeholder and Team Collaboration**

Collaborate with stakeholders and relevant teams on Product design solutions:

- Collaborate with the product team to gather and solve complex interaction problems, using a user-centric mindset to design effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the product team to validate design solutions/proposal utilising prototyping, storyboarding, usability testing, A/B testing and any other methodology which is effective.
- Seek feedback on design solutions from stakeholders and summarise it to something that is actionable in the design cycle.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure requirements given meet final intention and defined quality standards.

**Design Solutions and Features**

Create and implement design solutions for new products and features as required:

- Able to produce UX/UI specifications in terms of wireframes, models, mockups and flows for specific features based upon design requirement and contextually based best practices for optimise how users engage with the product.
- Continual UX/UI development and improvement of existing products and features.
- Be adaptable and pragmatic with UI/UX solutions to ensure development costs are well within the team’s scope to execute and maintain.
- Validate product designs with user feedback and engagement, identify constraints and provide corrective actions.

**Continuous Improvement**

Work closely with the product team to iteratively improve products and services for customers:

- Effectively communicate customer research findings to the team, so that they share a strong and empathetic understanding of their users.
- Keep up to date with the best UI/UX practices and upcoming UI/UX trends across different platforms such as mobile, web, and console.

**Qualification, Skills & Experience**:

- Degree-level education in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Web Development or related field.
- Have 2+ years’ experience in interactive design or similar fields. Have a successful track record of at least 2 citable products you have contributed to.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative evidence.
- Knowledge, experience in, and passion for user-centred design practices for web, mobile, software development or game development.
- Experience of understanding user needs for mobile/web content, tools and transactional services, especially those with the most complex customer journeys.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient with visual design programs such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop and others.
- Experience using blended agile methodologies (e.g Scrum and Kanban) for design integration.
