**Position Description**
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Reconciliations Officer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Superstar Reconciliations Officer, you will be tasked with the following:
- Perform full and detailed bank and suspense/clearing account reconciliation of entries across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data;
- Investigate transactions outside the predetermined rules within the bank reconciliation tool;
- Identify and resolve all current reconciling items as well ensure any aged outstanding items are investigated and cleared in a timely manner;
- Identifying and escalate areas of risk or problems to your line manager as deemed appropriate;
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements;
- Maintain documentation and records related to reconciliation activities;
- Liaising with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve inefficient or outdated processes in line with group strategy and internal policy;
- Other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Finance management team.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounts role, with a focus on bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Experience in a high-volume reconciliation environment is highly desirable;
- Intermediate MS Excel knowledge, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, V-look ups etc.);
- Strong analytical and time management skills to achieve successful outcomes in a timely manner;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies;
- Effective communicator, both written and oral, to all level of employees.
- Ability to use new software / exposure to various IT systems;
- Experience in crypto companies, fintech or payments, digital currency and blockchain technology or experience with Agile Ways of Work is extremely desireable;
