**About the role**:
We are looking for a **Procurement Specialist** to manage the sourcing and vendor management of our Critical Operational Categories, including sourcing and management of Procurement contracts in support of the Water Corporations regional operations and capital projects.

You’ll be based in Leederville. It’s a lively suburb, 5 minutes from Perth’s CBD. There’s plenty of places to eat and hang out, and you’re only 5-minutes away from the nearest train station - An easy commute when you’re heading into the office

**What the role will involve**:

- Develop Sourcing Strategies and Procurement Plans
- Lead negotiations, commercial terms of contract renewals and amendments to contracts for nominated Critical Operational Service contracts.
- Managing contract compliance, vendor performance, financial management and relationship management, for nominated Critical Operational service contracts
- Actively build strong relationships and working partnerships across the organisation both internal and external across all managed Operational Service Works Categories
- Managing Monthly spend dashboard and associated reporting for Critical Operational Service contracts

**Key skills and experience**:

- Extensive experience in development and management of complex contracts
- Substantial experience in commercial and contract management roles within an operational environment
- Highly skilled at negotiation, influencing and providing positive leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
