**THE ROLE**
The company is currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Administrator to join their Legal team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, ensuring seamless operations and facilitating effective communication within the team. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Group Legal Inbox, distributing requests and following up as necessary.
- Facilitating document execution and coordinating with signatories and their assistants.
- Ensuring executed documents are appropriately stored in the Document Management System and adhering to governance protocols.
- Opening new matters and maintaining the Document Management System.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintaining reports and liaising with external legal providers/vendors regarding accounts.
- Assisting the Legal team in preparing and submitting Board and Committee papers.
- Supporting document and presentation preparation.
- Coordinating and managing team and stakeholder meetings, including scheduling, agenda setting, and circulation of papers/reports.
- Assisting with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and internal training for the business.
- Overseeing trademark registrations and renewals, trademark and ASIC searches.
- Managing travel, catering, and accommodation arrangements, diary management, and itineraries.
- Processing individual and team expenses for the Legal department.
- Attending Legal Team meetings and documenting action items.
- Undertaking special projects as required.
**THE CANDIDATE**
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- A **minimum of 5yrs experience in an EA, PA, or administrator role**:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and a proactive approach
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite
- Resilience to work in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities
- Excellent administration and document management skills
- Discretion in handling confidential matters
- Confidence in liaising with senior managers, board members, and external legal service providers
