**The Role**

This family business is operated by 2 generations of hands-on owners who are looking to expand their team. The property encompasses 8500 hectares in all, with 7000 ha under crop. Merino wethers for wool production are run on the remaining country.

While this is a mixed farming enterprise, this role will be focused on the cropping side of the operation. Some mínimal livestock duties are part of the role, including sheep feeding and backlining, as well as general farm day-to-day operations including infrastructure maintenance and repairs.

We are seeking a farm hand to assist with implementing the annual cropping plans and capital works improvements. Operating late model equipment, predominately Case IH, our clients pride themselves on maintaining gear to a high standard. As such, the successful applicant will be able to complete repairs and maintenance on a variety of farm machinery or be willing to develop their skills in this area. The ability to work unsupervised will be highly advantageous. Around the other major operations demanded in a cropping farm - sowing, harvest and hay making, this role can be tailored to the successful applicants’ personal interests and skillset.

**The Offer**

In addition to an above award and generous salary, there is a 3 bedroom house located on the main farm available to the successful applicant. A work vehicle will be provided, as well as an electricity allowance. There is Telstra service at the homestead and across most of the property.

Only 20 minutes to Moora, enjoy all the creature comforts of town with roadside school bus stop, mail delivery and rubbish pickup. Moora itself has plenty of necessary facilities and social opportunities with a variety of local sporting teams, a swimming pool and a gym. All within an easy drive of the coast or Perth.
