**Your future role**:
Alstom have a 24-months fixed term contract for an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator with a rail, infrastructure or heavy industrial construction delivery background to join our business on a 2 weeks on /1 week off FIFO basis from Perth to Port Headland involved in the delivery of Alstom's scope on a Rail Technology Project.

**We’ll look to you for**:

- Deploying and maintain procedures and tools specific for EHS Management System in line with Transport and EHS Management System.
- Ensuring EHS risk assessment is undertaken and that the appropriate measures to control risks are defined.
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation of the site while monitoring compliance.
- Implementing an EHS training plan and program.
- Ensuring that the Safety Management System is well maintained and in line with required standards
- Reviewing and testing the various emergency plans and delivery of Safety induction training
- Prioritising accidents/incidents are first prevented, and if occurring writing thorough reports, recording the incident, ensuring this has been investigated and analysed
- Participating in the Alstom EHS & Safety audits and accreditation program.

**All about you**:

- Health & Safety qualification (Cert IV or Diploma)
- Rail, infrastructure or heavy industrial construction project experience in a similar role.
- Sound understanding and knowledge of local legal and regulatory health and safety requirements.
- Initiative, drive and resilience, with the ability to influence people at all levels within the operations.
- Strong knowledge of safe working systems, rules and procedures.
