About Marsden State School
We pride ourselves on delivering an excellent curriculum and have a rigorous learning environment that has at its core being safe, tolerant, respectful and inclusive.
The school was opened in 1978 and its success to date can be attributed to the extent that all members of the school community have become involved in the life of the school. We are currently staffed with a comprehensive network of teacher aides, specialist support teachers, a full time Guidance Office and two part-time Speech Language Pathologists enabling our teachers to provide a differentiated curriculum supporting the individual needs of each of our students.
About the Role

**Responsibilities include**:
Facilities management includes though may not be restricted to:

- Liaising with external contractors.
- Scheduling and managing maintenance activities.
- Implementing and monitoring process and policy for the issue of school keys to staff, hirers and community users.
- Conduct inspections to ensure building and facilities comply with all security and safety requirements for all users.
- Maintenance of buildings and grounds, and procurement of furniture and fittings.
- Identify maintenance requirements in accordance with Maintenance Assessment Report and school needs.
- Assist the Business Manager with the day to day supervision and management of grounds and cleaning staff by providing support, sharing learning and demonstrating personal integrity.
