**WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH**

Working alongside our generalist consultants, Bain's Advanced Analytics Group (AAG) helps clients across industries solve their biggest problems using our expertise in data science, customer insights, statistics, machine learning, data management, supply chain analytics and data engineering. Stationed in our global offices, AAG team members hold advanced degrees in computer science, engineering, AI, data science, physics, statistics, mathematics, and other quantitative disciplines, with backgrounds in a variety of fields including tech, data science, marketing analytics and academia.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

This is an opportunity to take on a key role in the Data Management & Visualization team of Bain’s expanding Advanced Analytics Group. You will have the opportunity to:

- Act as a solution architect on projects to develop and deploy visualizations & dashboards, etc., following modern data visualization methods and using BI tools including Tableau and PowerBI.
- Use common data science methods, including Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, Naïve Bayes, K-means clustering, Dimensionality reduction, anomaly detection, decision trees, random forests, ensemble methods
- Collaborate with clients and case team members to understand business needs and translate these into metrics and data needs to ensure Bain and AAG are bringing the optimal combination of expertise to deliver results for our clients
- Establish and implement state-of-art solutions and best practices, reflecting the latest trends and evolving data visualization industry standards
- Conduct and lead white-boarding sessions, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings building strong client relations
- Partner with clients’ Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and Reporting teams to standardize reporting and analytics implementation(s) across a variety of business teams/users/constituents

**ABOUT YOU**
- 4-7 years’ experience in addressing business needs through data visualization design and development with a leading company
- Proven passion for analytics and Business Intelligence and the ability to communicate its value as a strategic business advantage
- Proficient in data integration and transformation using programming languages such as SQL/python/R
- Track record of learning new technologies related to data visualization and analytics
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Knowledge of data visualization design, development and deployment methodologies and approaches
- Proven experience with common data science methods
- Experience with Business Visualization toolkits (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Qliksense, Looker etc.) and CRM technologies
- Demonstrated experience with using data in analytics from a variety of sources (e.g. AWS Redshift, Athena, RDS, BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must thrive in a fast paced & collaborative client-facing environment
- Occasional travel depending on business needs
