**About the Role**

The Service Manager is responsible for:

- Operational management of an independent living model
- Providing greater flexibility, choice and control.
- A focus on individualised and customised supports and services, delivering what the person wants.
- Providing oversight and empowerment to the people we support with their daily running of the units to meet and exceed clearly identified KPIs,
- Providing high-quality support to customers and their families, along with leadership to support staff.

You will be supported by Regional Group Manager and a dedicated team of service managers who can provide mentorship.

**About You**:

- Demonstrated management experience
- Understanding of legislation and standards applicable to the disability sector
- Knowledge and understanding of how to support staff to implement contemporary and person-centred approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of people with disability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources in a complex environment
- Excellent initiative and self-directed work practices as well as highly developed organisational skills.
- A relevant disability qualification would be desirable
