Joining this small but dynamic global team, you will play a crucial role in various projects across the built environment. Your responsibilities will involve the creative development of architectural products, systems, and solutions for our large-scale infrastructure work. Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with our Architectural, Engineering & Contractor design partners to deliver world-class designs. We strive to create stunning customer experiences while ensuring that our solutions are grounded, buildable, and compliant.

Here's what you can expect in this role:
Supporting the Industrial Design team on large infrastructure projects.

Developing customer-focused architectural components, such as fixtures and fittings, lighting, walls, ceilings, and PSD's, etc.

Creating architectural component concepts and seamlessly integrating these systems into large design schemes in collaboration with our design partners.

Contributing your expertise in infrastructure delivery by collaborating with our engineering design partners to mitigate risks and achieve high-quality, cost-effective design solutions.

Engaging in discussions with our contractor construction partners to enable the delivery of the design vision and concept using the latest DfMA approaches, while meeting cost and program constraints.

Ensuring regulatory and standards compliance within the Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards. Knowledge of TfNSW, Sydney Metro, and other large-scale operator frameworks is preferred.

Assisting Project Managers and Wayfinding leads when required, including the creation of diagrams, design guidelines, and reports.

To excel in this role, you should have the following competencies:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and CAD tools, as well as Photoshop.

Expertise in 3D software such as REVIT/BIM, Rhino, Grasshopper, Solidworks, VRAY, and Keyshot.

A degree in a design-related field, such as Industrial Design, Facade Design, Architecture, or Interior Design, along with at least four years of experience in an established creative agency.

Experience working on transport and urban wayfinding projects alongside architects, engineers, and contractors.

Exceptional design, conceptualization, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently communicate your design work in written, oral, and presentation formats.

Fluency in English, with outstanding written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, proactive mindset, collaborative approach, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, effectively managing your own workload, prioritizing tasks, and meeting internal deadlines.

Proficiency in developing and delivering models, mockups, and prototypes in various scales, utilizing VR, AR, and physical builds.

Experience in developing, coordinating, and collaborating to achieve our design deliverables in a coordinated REVIT/BIM environment.

Confidence in visually and verbally presenting design solutions, with high-quality, effective sketching, rendering, and drafting skills.
