**Our Opportunity**:
As the Principal Analyst for AI Pricing Implementation, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our organisation into a data-driven powerhouse. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the development and deployment of AI solutions that enhance our pricing strategies, leading to profitability maximisation. This position requires a profound understanding of the iron ore industry, adeptness analytics, a keen interest in AI technologies, and exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**AI Technology Development**:

- Collaborate with our internal integrated technology team to develop and implement cutting-edge AI/ML techniques and tools, such as machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and decision science.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Sales and Marketing and relevant stakeholders, championing the development of AI technology.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of AI pricing models, ensuring precision and reliability while continuously enhancing performance.
- Translate AI and ML research into practical, dependable, and tested software solutions that create tangible value for Sales and Marketing.

**AI & ML Technology Delivery**:

- Aid in crafting user requirements for the Technology and Data teams, overseeing product prioritisation and backlog management.
- Collaborate closely with our AI / ML engineers to enable the delivery of user-friendly interfaces that are highly valued by Sales and Marketing team members.
- Offer technical guidance and support for the design and implementation of AI models, encompassing data mapping, planning, resource allocation, and prioritisation.
- Assess and recommend AI and data technologies, platforms, and tools best suited to achieve our objectives.
- Contribute to the development of roadmaps for AI capability advancement, defining milestones, KPIs, technical and skill requisites, and anticipated challenges.
- Collaborate with our AI / ML engineers to seamlessly integrate AI and ML tools into Business As Usual (BAU) operations.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Economics, Business, Data Science or Computer Science)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial analysis and pricing strategy within the commodities sector
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages, such as Python or R
- An innate interest in and some understanding of machine learning and AI technologies
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
- A proven track record of implementing data-driven strategies that have resulted in improved business outcomes
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management
- A demonstrated understanding of the challenges and pressures faced by software users in achieving their job objectives, influencing software solution requirements
