Our Client is a well known construction business who have been established in Australia for over 60 years. Their team consists of around 15 staff in the office plus many who are out on site, delivering projects for a wide variety of customers in both the commercial and residential sectors.

This position is responsible for supporting the commercial team with all aspects of the procurement of products and equipment that are essential to day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.

Specifically, this includes:

- Processing purchase orders and providing purchase orders to suppliers within required time frames
- Tracking orders and ensuring smooth and timely delivery of goods ordered
- Assessing and monitoring the quality and quantity of products ordered and delivered
- Coordinating the collection of goods from the warehouse by site staff
- Evaluating supplier offerings in terms of quality, price and terms of payment
- Developing and implementing processes regarding the ordering of stock
- Tracking and reconciling invoices against delivery notes daily to ensure that the finance team are able to process payments
- Ensuring that returns of over ordered goods and equipment are effectively processed

This is a full time office based permanent position with hours being 7.00am to 4.00pm with 1 hour lunch break. The salary guide for the role is $70,000 - $80,000 + Super.
