**How will I help?**

An Exciting opportunity is available for a Cloud Engineering Manager - AWS within the Infrastructure and Enterprise Compute Storage services team in Group Technology.

This position requires hands-on experience working in teams that have built highly reliable and scalable AWS cloud patterns and codebases that are secure, resilient, cost effective whilst easy to build, release and maintain. In addition, this role can be based in any state within Australia.

Your key responsibilities may include:

- Develop and drive adoption of best practice and best in class technology for WBC AWS Cloud.
- Orchestrate delivery of projects, Managing the design, development, and testing of Infrastructure Platform as code.
- Collaborate closely with Chief Engineering, Solutions Architecture, AppDev and CTO groups for close cloud practice and delivery alignment.
- Establish a governance framework to ensure platform security and compliance is automated, reported and maintained as per security and compliance policies.
- Work closely with Cloud GRC manager to understand the risk and compliance obligations and orchestrate the technical delivery of it.
- People leadership, including coaching and mentoring team members.
- Stakeholder management and communication skills to effectively deliver and report on Cloud initiatives, Product and services development and risk and compliance issues.

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder management experience and be self-driven. In addition to this, your skills may include:

- Proven experience in people leadership.
- Experience in AWS Cloud technology.
- Experience with Project Delivery and In-depth knowledge of SAFe and agile practices.
- Experience in Cloud Compliance and Security.
- Experience in E2E cloud engineering practice and Delivery.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification is Mandatory.
