Our services include aged and disability care, transitional care, hospital in the home and palliative care.

We are currently seeking experienced Aged Care and Disability Support Workers to provide support to our aging clients or clients living with a disability.

**The successful applicant will be**:

**Qualifications**

Essential Criteria:

- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability Support, Enrolled Nursing Students
- Federal Police Clearance Certificate
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Driver's Licence and comprehensively insured private vehicle
- Smart phone mobile
- NDIS worker screen clearance and orientation module certificate(desirable)
- Relevant experience working with aged and/or person with a disability
- Student - minimum 120 hours completed at clinical work placement

**Preferred Skills**

The successful applicant will have the following skills:

- Six months experience as a personal care worker in health care (Aged Care, Residential or In-home and community care)
- Outstanding service manner and desire to make a difference
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills
- Transferring clients in and out of bed, chairs and providing other mobility assistance
- Showering and toileting (including bowel care)
- Light housekeeping tasks and assisting in meal preparation
- Transporting clients to appointments and social activities
- Able to provide Social Companionship
- Meets basic competency level required to meet the needs of our clients in their home environment

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.8 per week
