The Faculty of Health is dedicated to being at the forefront of teaching, learning, creativity, social development, and ground-breaking research and discovery. We work closely with industry partners and government bodies to translate discoveries into real-word impact. This role will specifically be working within the School of Psychology.

**About the role**:
The Associate Lecturer (Education-focused Academic) will collaborate with the teaching team to develop and deliver engaging learning materials for undergraduate psychology courses. Working closely with the Unit Chair, the role focuses on improving student learning outcomes through both online and face-to-face teaching. The position will also contribute to the development of effective assessment tasks, provide timely feedback, and engage in high-quality research and scholarship. This position is suited to a person with an emerging record and passion for learning and teaching, a keen interest in contributing to community engagement for teaching and employability.

**As an Associate Lecturer in Psychology, Education-focused, you will**:

- Collaborate with design teams and Unit Chairs to develop innovative and effective learning materials, staying updated on curriculum design trends.
- Integrate industry, clinical, and research practices into student learning experiences to enhance engagement and success.
- Deliver dynamic teaching practices both online and face-to-face, with a focus on improving student outcomes and engagement through innovation.
- Adapt teaching materials and methods to support diverse learners, creating collaborative and inclusive learning opportunities.
- Assist in designing and refining assessment tasks and rubrics, providing timely, constructive feedback to support student learning and success.

**To be successful, you’ll have**:

- PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience
- Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and learning
- Ability to deliver effective teaching practices to improve student success and engagement
- Emerging record of scholarly learning and teaching in postgraduate or undergraduate programs
- Possess or undertake (post-appointment) Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
