Permanent ESO Rescue role working an 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth to the South-East region of Western Australia

**Your new company**

As an experienced ESO, you will be working for an owner operator for laterite nickel in an open-pit mining environment located in the Southeast region of Western Australia. Operations involve three open-pits, an ore processing beneficiation plant and includes purpose-built facilities for transporting product from the plant.

**Your new role**

As a highly experienced ESO, The primary activities of this position are to lead, report and monitor day to day safety activities and to provide early intervention and management of illness and injuries, support other departments with ERT requirements and complete all other required duties as required, including but not limited to;
- Providing technical / practical support and services to site where required.
- Conduct Fitness for Work and Drug and Alcohol testing as required.
- Control of site access and authorisation utilising approved systems and processes.
- Participate in field interactions and champion the CSE and WAH process on site.
- Participate in crisis management in the event of an incident.
- Direction, support and assistance of ERT members in the event of an incident.
- Control and/or monitor: site key register; lost property; site radio channel/s; journey management plans; DFES Warnings; etc.

**What you'll need to succeed**

As a positive and highly skilled ESO professional, you will need;
- Cert 3 Mines Rescue or Public Safety
- Cert IV Healthcare (Ambulance) or above
- Previous experience in a clinical or emergency capacity
- Drug & Alcohol Testing Certification
- Current minimum HR B licence
- INX experience, InControl, InFlight or InTuition will be desirable
