**About our opportunity**

We have an exciting and rewarding **part time** opportunity for a Venue Support Officer to join our team at Caboolture Regional Art Gallery.

Our **Caboolture Regional Art Gallery** is housed within a contemporary, state-of-the-art gallery space, where visitors experience an exciting exhibition program of significant Australian and international artists.

As a Venue Support Officer you'll be the **first point of contact for our visitors** and responsible for providing them with memorable and positive experience.

You'll use your **exceptional customer service** skills to invite, engage and connect our visitors to our exhibitions, you'll also be delivering and supporting gallery programs and events as well as **supporting the operations of the gallery** to make it a welcoming, safe and clean environment.

Team members actively contribute to a positive team environment, with opportunity to assist with the installation and de-installation of exhibitions.

The position will be rostered a minimum of 17 hours per week and include working Saturdays.

This position requires the successful applicant to be available to work any 5 out of 7 days as part of the ordinary hours.

**About you**

Bring your love of **face-to-face customer service** in a fast-paced environment, and experience within cultural services or at a cultural facility including museums, galleries and libraries.

Share your natural curiosity and intuition that lets you **build relationships with a diverse audience**, and your respectful and friendly work style that allows you to work autonomously and thrive a collaborative team.

- _Genuine interest and passion for working within a cultural venue_
- _Customer service skills and experience_

Having a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate is desirable.
