**Talent International** is searching for an experienced **Process Analyst** to join our large government client for a Brisbane CBD based contract until March 2023 + possible extensions.

**Primary Position Purpose**
The Senior Business Analyst position will lead and promote best practice business process and performance improvements and deliver process re-engineering projects to achieve optimum outcomes for services delivered by City Standards (CS), specifically those that traverse multiple branches including Program Planning and Integration (PPI), Public Space Operations, Construction and Asphalt and Aggregates.

- Model and lead performance excellence and values-based culture in line with the client's Leadership Blueprint.
- Lead business improvement initiatives and drive the redesign of processes and systems that support efficiencies of the day-to-day workflow across branches to reflect the new structure, best utilise resources and deliver enhanced customer outcomes.
- Lead business improvement initiatives and drive the redesign of processes that support asset databases and management to enhance the 2-4 year priority program development, leading to better informed decisions and enhanced network outcomes.
- Lead and provide guidance on the utilisation and broader rollout of Project Professional (and other relevant technical platforms) and enhancement of corporate IT tools such as SAP and other enterprise systems to enhance reporting, planning and real-time data visibility, including financial reporting.
- Proactively coordinate and deliver a range of critical business planning and process change activities using a variety of methodologies, tools and processes.
- Support an agile workforce that is continuously developing to meet evolving customer needs in a changing business environment.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of collaborative partnerships and working relationships with key stakeholders, business partners and communities of practice across the organisation, to enable effective knowledge sharing and project delivery.
- Identify opportunities for enhanced proactive communication tools for varying target audiences, including strategies, plans, reports, presentations.
- Gather and analyse data to review and evaluate strategic branch business challenges, opportunities and performance, and identify and report improvement recommendations.
- Design and deliver facilitated meetings and workshops with key stakeholders to share knowledge and ideas, resolve conflicts and achieve project outcomes.

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Ability to contribute to team direction, give and receive feedback and achieve agreed performance standards in order to contribute to a culture of performance excellence.
- Demonstrated experience in fostering an agile workforce, through coaching, mentoring and day-to-day guidance.
- Significant experience in completing end-to-end process reviews and delivering innovative process improvements to increase business performance and enhance customer experience.
- Demonstrated experience in quickly developing comprehensive knowledge of complex systems and processes and identifying improvements.
- Highly developed interpersonal communication, consultation, influencing and negotiation skills to effectively advise and network with senior stakeholders and business partners.
- Highly developed written communication skills to create, and guide others to create, a range of communication tools, including strategies, plans, reports, models and presentations.
- Well-developed research, strategic, analytical, process modelling and problem-solving skills to analyse data and complex issues and provide recommendations and strategic business/process solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee or manage the planning, designing and delivery of projects focussed on business, cultural and operational improvements, using a recognised project management methodology.
- Well-developed ability to design and deliver facilitated meetings and workshops with key stakeholders to gather information, share knowledge and ideas, resolve conflicts and achieve project outcomes.
- Advanced knowledge in business planning and process management, with demonstrated ability to provide professional consultancy services, develop and deliver capability building frameworks, initiatives and tools, and lead the development and implementation of business planning and process management strategies, plans and activities, using recognised systems and methodologies.
