**The Company**:
**A well established and leading Australian manufacturer based on the Northern Beaches seeks a Die Setter to assist in their dynamic team environment. **The Role**:
Reporting in to the Mould Shop Supervisor you will be instrumental in the setting and removing of dies in and out of injection moulding machines as well as relocating removed dies to die store or maintenance. Your efficiency in changing dies and operating machinery whilst adhering to policies and procedures will be paramount working within this professional, friendly and supportive team environment.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Start up and shut down machine & driers
- Change dies and inserts and make adjustment as needed
- Use crane to set and remove dies from machines
- Cycle the machine to produce goods parts
- Check parts for tolerances, surface blemishes, etc and make adjustment to compensate any irregularities
- Operate all machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
- Set and adjust machine until target parameters for part have been achieved and seek to minimize reject rate
- Follow work instruction and procedure
- Responsible for meeting quality standards and adhering to written setup instructions.
- Accurate recording of production records
- Report any discrepancies in production
- Respond promptly to quality assurance issues and ensure quality standards are met at all time
- Identify and report any non-conformance
- Reduction in scrap control / cost
- Help & contribute in the management of runners

**Skills and Experience**:

- Any equivalent combination of experience in setting dies, training and/or education as an Injection moulding die setter / moulder is an advantage
- Experience with small and large injection moulding machines and die setting
- A can-do attitude with the willingness to help others and assist with housekeeping and maintenance.
