**Get Paid to Learn a Trade**

Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) is looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual interested in a Apprenticeship as a Die Setter.

**Key Duties/Responsibilities**
- Responsible for machine setups with the correct mould.
- Load the robot parameters. If new product, create robot program.
- Start the moulding machine, once acceptable mouldings are achieved, have QC approve the mouldings. Once the mouldings are approved, ready the machine and paperwork for production. Commence production.
- Responsible for die trials, recording all setups and findings.
- Responsible for material trials.
- Problem solves setup issues.
- Must have an up-to-date fork lift license.
- Must achieve or hold the current certificate RIIHAN305D to operate an overhead crane.
- Relieve operators during designated meal breaks as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
- Ensure that all dies are stored in a manner that will prevent any damage.
- Perform basic routine maintenance requirements.
- Recommend process improvements.
- Review mould drawings in the design phase and recommend mould layouts.
- To work and interact co‑operatively with fellow employees and staff.
- Must ensure that all activities are to the standards of the company’s WHS policy.

**Day-to-day**

Working alongside a small team of experienced personnel. You will assist and support in a variety of tasks to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.

- Must be willing to undertake and work towards completing training in the relevant formal qualification
