A vacancy currently exists in our electrical licensing team for a Licensing Services Officer at our Newstead office. Prior experience as a 'Licensing Officer' is not essential.

As a Licensing Services Officer within Electrical Licensing unit, you will be part of an efficient flexible and responsive team that strives for to keep all Queenslanders safe around electricity.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Undertaking administrative duties as required by the unit's business and administrative processes.
- Respond to electrical licensing related enquiries from internal and external clients through written and oral advice.
- Assist with the coordination of correspondence and records management.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Demonstrated ability to establish work priorities and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Sound interpersonal and written communication skills evidenced by the ability to deliver effective client service to a broad range of people
- Knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of electrical licensing legislation and policies.

This role will challenge and develop your ability to engage with stakeholders, partner and educate the community in electrical safety matters and ensure compliance within a regulatory framework.
