**Role Description/Criteria**

Applications are sought for the position of College Religious And Liturgical Music Coordinator commencing in January 2024.

**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**

The College Religious and Liturgical Music Leader takes major responsibility for the development and coordination of music for liturgy and prayer across the College and is a resource person for religious music in general.

The College Religious and Liturgical Music Leader is responsible to the Vice Principal - Catholic Identity and Mission, and assists the College Faith Team in the planning, facilitation, and management of a whole school approach to faith activities in the College, particularly as they pertain to religious and liturgical music.

**MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**

The College Religious and Liturgical Music Leader’s major areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
i. promoting and resourcing the religious and liturgical music life and culture of the College;
ii. overseeing and coordinating liturgical music across all College campuses;
iii. liaising with the Director of Catholic Identity and Director of Performing Arts in coordinating and managing musical aspects of College liturgical celebrations, including Padua Day Mass, Opening Mass and other whole school masses and liturgies;
iv. liaising with the Director of Catholic Identity and Director of Performing Arts in coordinating and managing musical aspects of Mornington based liturgies including Graduation Mass, House Liturgies, End-of-Year Liturgies;
v. resourcing Religious Education staff in using music for prayer and liturgy in Religious Education classes;
vi. assisting in the development of the wider College Catholic Identity program as part of the College Faith Team; and

vii. performing other day-to-day duties and implementing decisions as requested by the Principal and/or members of the College Improvement Team.
