Situated in the heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley lies **Ovolo the Valley**. Inspired by the eclectic culture and iconic history of the surrounding neighbourhood, Ovolo the Valley draws guests into a whimsical oasis of colour and art, with surprising hints of quirkiness, custom wallpaper, eccentric furniture, and illustrations curated throughout all its spaces. Designed for effortless living, Ovolo the Valley features 103 guest rooms, Tel Aviv-inspired Restaurant ZA ZA TA and bar KAZBA, multiple event spaces, and a rooftop pool.

From check-in and beyond, as our **Porter (Curator of F.U.N)**, you’ll be responsible for delivering on our promise of providing effortless and effervescent experiences for our guests. Your contagious enthusiasm teamed with your obsession with taking care of our guests will fill our lobbies with a special kind of sparkle that’ll keep people coming back for more.

You’ll be the first-person people see as they walk into the building and the first voice they hear when they call in. You'll be involved in so many things throughout the day that'll make the time go fast. This is not a position where you'll just sit behind a desk answering phones. Oh, no. This shift is usually busiest at the start of shift and quiets down towards the end. You'll be the go-to person for everyone in the building. You'll handle guest requests, log packages and park cars, plan guest social hour events, coordinate maintenance requests and help the office team.

You're the glue that keeps the Hotel community together.

**Must haves..**
- You light up a room - You will be the face of the hotel.
- Previous Porter / Front Office / Reception / Concierge experience is essential
- Bring it Attitude, willingness and happiness
- 5 Star standards, nothing less
- Scrub up nicely? Be yourself and be presentable
- A personality is needed, come & play
- Know how to make someone feel special? Deliver that service from the heart that can only come from Moi
- You will have energy and enthusiasm to embrace the culture that Brisbane offers
- Know about the IT stuff, Front Office systems desirable.
- Manual driver's license essential, as you will be required to drive valet.
