The **Victorian Heart Hospital** is Australia’s first dedicated heart hospital. It includes a full range of ambulatory and inpatient cardiac care, including cardiac theatres, cardiac catheterisation laboratories and ambulatory services such as cardiac CT, echocardiography and specialist consultation. It also features a unique, patient centred model of care. The Victorian Heart Hospital will also play a key role in advancing research and teaching and will be home to the Victorian Heart Institute, a brand new, health and medical research organisation at Monash University.

As an experienced and qualified **Cardiac Sonographer **you will be excitedto join the interdepartmental collaborative PoCUS education program, focussing on education of limited echocardiography to critical care registrars across the Monash Health network. This is a truly historic and exceptional **Cardiac Sonographer** career opportunity.

**Full or Part Time opportunities for suitably qualified cardiac sonographers to join our busy and innovative Point-of-care Echocardiography program.**

**What You Need**:

- Full accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry [ASAR] is a mandatory requirement of this position.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven team work attributes
- Ability to liaise with hospital department directors, cardiology trainees, critical care trainees, ultrasound vendors, clients and family members.
- Previous experience with 1-on-1 and group education facilitation is preferred.
- Previous paediatric echo experience will be an advantage.
- Demonstrate autonomy and a high standard of clinical reasoning skills in the acute care environment.
- Evidence of commitment and participation in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.
